Listening to: love is real, real is love.
Sitting on a hammock in Maine looking at Little Sebago lake, children with floaties, puppies, more puppies, grilled cheese sandwiches, friends playing catch, dogs fetching frisbees, siblings singing and playing guitar together, boat rides, tubing, tarzan swings, daddy Richies fantastic dip, cool breeze, 73°, watching Federer and Nadal do awesome things, sister and brothers, sitting on the dock, feet in the water, not getting sunburned, mini-golf, Double Dragon, 3 Ninjas, Cool Runnings, Matt and Ben in a giant hot dog eating contest, cucumber sandwiches, endless beer, 4 bottles of Jack gone in 3 days, daddy Richie's strong-but-not-to-strong gin and tonics, Eeddyy the turtle swimming in the lake, he's so fast, reading comics, other peoples fireworks, John Lennon, Matt playing Iron and Wine on guitar, he thinks he's no good but it's gorgeous, young couples in love, Nick is pee-shy, boating at night, so so so many stars, visible band of the Milky Way in the sky, ten dollar sunglasses, incomplete sentences, throwing your voice, talk-yelling, "italians", satisfying sneezes, small dog running into a glass door, she's been weird ever since.

Listening to: One of the only four good Crystal Castles songs.
A giant evil megacorporation that loves to destroy adorable and awesome independent shops wont' let me apply for a job online, which is the only way they accept applications, because their application program does not support OSX 10.4 (proving how pathetically behind in trends they are). I hope the other giant evil megacorp that I applied for a job with will hire me instead, fingers crossed.

Listening to: Nôze - Remember Love
I am updating from the hotel lobby here in San Francisco. I have done many fun and cool things. I have eating much good foods. I have taken many beautiful photographs (thanks Elyse) which I will show you all later. I have drankt a lot of Fat Tire by the Pacific seaside. I have lookt into a tall waterfall and seen a small Chinese boy. Tomorrow I will stand beneath a very large tree that is many hundreds of years old and I will resonate with it's ancient and wise spirit. The day after that, I will come home.
Tonight I had dinner at an Indian place that did not serve alcohol but had a very open BYOB policy, most of the patrons had brought their own 40 oz. of Colt 45 or 6 packs of Miller. I laughed at this, and wish that I had known before, and that I wasn't with my mother, as I would've prepared correctly. Chai was free, I had a two cups of this.
I've never really cared much about sports, but I'm glad the Celts won. This is because I love Boston.
Dank band for you to be checking out okay: Nôze. They are French and the singer sounds like Tom Waits and likes to get naked on stage, you can't go wrong with that.
PS: I'm not drunk, I just like to type weird sometimes.
PPS: Why won't Maria Bamford hang out with me?

Listening to: Dubnobasswithmyheadman.
Moving into my new house tomorrow! I'm so excited, and what makes it great is that we can take our sweet time and not feel totally rushed. I took apart all my furniture and stuff today, including my bed (<3 Ikea) so for the night I sleep on a mattress on the floor, as a college student should. Ben and I went to the Asian festival today, it was alright, all the stuff they were selling was pretty cheap/Americanized crap, I did get a cool necklace from the Nepal booth though and there was soooooo much good food and lots of cool performances. Bad news is I was still drunk from the night before, and so ends my almost 2 week long streak of drinking every night. I guess I can give my liver a break. I got my ticket today for 4th of July in Boston, it's gonna be so off the chain, you won't be able to see the chain from there, and you'll be like "Yo, where the chain go at?"

Aight. I spent the last two nights in Charleston with Matty and co. It was crazy fun, a lot of drinking, a lot of shopping (I have a disturbing addiction to independent record shops, I buy shit I don't even want).

( M O R E )
With the exception of Ben getting a small speeding ticket and absurd heat, it was a successful little trip. We need to do that more often.

Just watched Obama's latest speech about him winning the Democratic nomination, I had to stop myself from clapping by myself in my living room. It was powerful stuff. Although for the record, I never had any major beef with Hill (really, my choice came down to healthcare) and I'm incredibly proud of her for getting that far, she's a serious trail blazer for future female leaders. I can't wait for the debates, they're gonna be so much fun. As much as I totally love Matt, hanging out at his house this weekend with his best friend that sells Hummers and his conservative Republican parents was tough as I had to bite my tongue many a time.

I have a sunburn, and it's itchy, so itch that I can't sleep. I'm drinking a lot of water and using comical amounts of aloe, but that only helps for a little bit. Hopefully in a couple days it'll stop. I heard vinegar helps but I'm afraid to try it.
I'm going to Charleston tonight with Matt and a few other people, it should be a lot of fun, I'm really looking forward to it, haven't been there in forever.

Watching Comedians of Comedy for the millionth time. I LOVE Maria Bamford, if you didn't already know.
Tonight was Matty's birthday, he got annihilated, it was funny. He tried to give Josh a hug, and almost kissed him, it was incredibly awkward for Josh but hilarious for everyone else. Later we went to get breakfast and talked deeply about the following things: Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Starship Troopers, Battlestar Galactica, X-Men and Batman. It was the best and nerdiest conversation I have ever had, and nothing will ever top it.

Neil Young never lets me down. Tara is sleeping on my couch, I lub her. Tonight Laura and I shared stories of our horrible, horrible roommates when we were in the dorms. Well, in his defense, he was a really fantastic, awesome guy, just not good for me to live with, but there are so many hilarious and/or awful stories. I kinda got a tiny bit sun burnt at the beach today but it's okay, it's not a big deal. Got to see Steve, Jon, Tyler and those guys tonight, that was great. Oh! and Frank and Aladdin. I love Aladdin, he's the greatest. Frankie the Tankie. He was trying to blow bubbles our of an apple slicer. Okay I'm done now bye bye.
